The Gem State Cosplay Contest is the place where dreams meet duct tape, EVA foam transforms into epic armor, and wigs defy gravity in ways even science can not explain. This is the ultimate showdown of fandom magic. From anime to superheroes, knights to cyborgs, anything goes! Contestants must be 15 years of age or older, 14 and under can enter the Kids Competition below.

If your cosplay is entirely purchased or hand-crafted pieces make up less than 50% of your cosplay then this is the category for you! You can also enter this category if you do not feel ready to compete in the Advanced category, there are no more open slots in Advanced, or you would like to forego prejudging.

The Gem State Kids Cosplay Contest is where young superheroes, magical wizards, brave adventurers, and cheeky villains take the stage to show off their amazing costumes and big imaginations. Whether they stomp like dinosaurs, strike ninja poses, or twirl like royalty, these cosplayers are guaranteed to steal the show (and your heart!).
