This is the base pattern of the Rathian style arm armor. The template makes for a simple foundation for many different styles of arm armor. Made out of 4mm-6mm foam, it can be used for LARP, cosplay, or any other costumed occasion. The pattern is fairly self-explanatory, just tape all the pages together and cut out the shapes. I recommend using 4mm foam and potentially 2mm for the finger parts. Regarding the hand armor, it's super basic. I'm of the opinion that hands are virtually never the point of emphasis of a photograph and it's vastly more important that a cosplayer have dexterity. Not only will nobody notice how simple your gloves are, but it will actually make you safer. Consider that in the event of an emergency, you will want as near full use of your hands as possible. That's why I always just glue these basic shapes to a pair of gloves that fit nicely. I highly recommend using black foam to save yourself some aggravation when painting (or white/gray if that's more appropriate for the final color). Lastly, many of the finger parts are identical, so there's no need to cut out every part on the template sheet. The duplicative parts are highlighted with red striping. The elbow part is certainly the most complicated part of the pattern as it calls for a cut that switches from a negative angle to a square angle to a positive angle to get the inside corner-flat-outside corner shape.
